Are you our new head of operations ?
We are continuously expanding our activities and have an opening for a Head of our Operations Department in Copenhagen.
With us you will find the entrepreneurial spirit of a newly established company based on values from the founding partners, Reliability, Flexibility, Empathy and Ambition. You will lead a team of skilled operators and trainees. You will have a close day-to-day contact with clients, vessels, agents and suppliers and as you already know from the business, you will work in an international environment which is often hectic and unpredictable.
As our expansion is mainly within ice classed vessels, it would be an advantage if you can demonstrate experience with operations of such vessels. Likewise a general knowledge of the Russian tanker market would be preferred - however this is not a must.
The ideal candidate has leadership experience.
We can offer you:
- Many challenges in a growing market
- Co-operation with a dynamic team
- Good possibilities of further training
- Some travel activity
- Much influence on own work
- Salary commensurate with qualifications
- Fine pension- and insurance scheme
You can offer us:
- Experience from a similar job
- Alternatively sea going experience with an interest for the commercial work
- Experience in leading a team.
- Team player spirit
- A systematic and well organised approach
- Responsibility and self-motivation
- Commitment and drive
- Proficiency in English
- Wide IT knowledge
- A good sense of humour
The pool controls 50 product tankers of which 30 have ice class. An extensive newbuilding programme will add another 35 vessels within the next three years. Norient Product Pool A/S has 25 employees of which 10 refer to the Head of Operations.
